What Is the DONYDO Diamond Color Energy Guide
Diamonds are not only judged by clarity, cut and carat — their colour carries its own story. Diamonds occur naturally across almost the full colour spectrum, and the colour of a stone comes from real, verified gemological causes: trace elements, structural changes in the crystal lattice, natural radiation exposure, and mineral inclusions absorbed over the stone's formation. Yellow diamonds, for example, are commonly linked to nitrogen; blue diamonds to trace boron; many pink diamonds to a distortion in the crystal structure; green diamonds to natural radiation exposure.
Building on this real gemological foundation, DONYDO has developed a proprietary Color Energy Language — a symbolic, spiritual reading of what each diamond colour represents, and a way to choose a diamond not only for how it looks, but for what it quietly speaks to. In a diamond, colour is born from within. So is energy.
This language applies specifically to diamonds — natural or lab-grown. It is separate from DONYDO's Aura Energy Points system, which is built around specific coloured gemstones (ruby, sapphire, topaz, amethyst and others) within the Aura and Marea collections. The two systems share some of the same seven names, but are not interchangeable: a blue sapphire and a blue diamond do not carry the same DONYDO energy meaning.
⚠️ Scope: diamonds only. This colour language describes diamonds specifically and is never mixed with the meaning of other gemstones. In DONYDO's Marea system, a blue sapphire corresponds to Vision; here, a blue diamond corresponds to Clarity instead. These are two distinct systems, applied to distinct stones.
