This May, we’re thrilled to announce our exciting role in the prestigious DOI Awards 2025, a global platform celebrating innovation in jewelry design. As the creative designer of Donydo, I, Donata Donydo, am honored to serve as a judge and to unveil this year’s inspiring theme: Echoes of Resilience.
The DOI Awards, founded by the visionary Mrs. Shrusshti, challenge designers to push the boundaries of creativity, crafting wearable art that speaks to the heart. DonyDo choose for this year “Echoes of Resilience” and invites participants to capture the human spirit’s strength through adversity, using abstract forms, bold material choices, and minimalist designs. Imagine a polished amethyst emerging from jagged silver, symbolizing beauty forged through struggle, or a titanium cuff with a vibrant turquoise stone, evoking hope. This theme encourages global, avant-garde aesthetics, moving beyond traditional motifs to create pieces that are both contemporary and timeless.
Rooted in Dubai with Italian soul, Donydo has always embraced storytelling through jewelry. Our collections, from Aura to Inizio, blend 18kt gold, vibrant enamel, diamonds, and innovative materials to celebrate individuality and transformation. As a judge, I’m excited to witness how designers worldwide interpret resilience, bringing fresh perspectives to this universal narrative.
